While GE Capital finances both global manufacturers and North American distributors, its trade distribution finance offering goes further, providing end-to-end financing for products in transit between the two.

Getting customers on board.

To effectively convey the many benefits of this new arrangement, we worked closely with product development – interviewing sales, marketing and product teams, developing a value proposition, and creating all external messaging. Our launch video introduced the concept we developed – “ship to store financing” – and was followed by modules showing each audience why the product is so smart.

An interactive tool to facilitate sales.

For a sales team used to selling only one end of the deal, we developed an interactive tool that could be used for both internal training and interactions with clients on both ends. Phase 2 will add a real-time configurator with questions that will allow the sales team to gather enough information to provide financing proposals.
